Most UMass Amherst student Veterans live off campus. These are two places on campus where staff members are well equipped to advise student Veterans moving to the area.
OFF CAMPUS STUDENT CENTER, 314 Student Union Building, (413) 577-1005 The staff can answer most of your questions about off campus life at UMass. They can also help you find housing or housemates using the UMass Off Campus Housing Service.
The OCSC is a place to go if you need to charge your devices or use the Quick Access computers and printers. There’s a refrigerator, microwave, comfy furniture, configurable study tables and you can rent a locker so you have someplace to put your stuff while you’re on campus. During the semester the Off Campus Student Center is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. The hours vary during the summer and school vacations.
STUDENT VETERAN RESOURCE CENTER, 19 Dickinson Hall, (413) 545-0939 The staff at the SVRC may also be able to help you find other student Veterans who are looking for housemates.
