Online Pre-College Programs
Our online pre-college programs are designed to give you a preview of the UMass Amherst student experience, including college-level academics and being part of a learning community of high school students from all across the U.S. and the world.
- Courses will be delivered online through live meetings and will include offline assignment and projects.
- Courses meet synchronously 3 - 5 times per week primarily using Zoom, but may use other communication tools.
- Courses will be managed through UMass Amherst's Canvas platforms. Learn more about Canvas.

This summer, Juniper Young Writers Online will continue to provide young writers in grades 9-12 with opportunities for experimentation, creativity and wild invention, with the added benefit of being hosted in a virtual classroom with University Without Walls at UMass Amherst.
