2D and 3D Digital Watercolor Making in Architecture and Landscape Architecture
This fun 2-week program is designed for students interested in delving into the fundamentals of digital watercolor in both 2D and 3D formats. Emphasis will be on architecture and landscape architecture.
Students will be exposed to a variety of 2D and 3D drawing and modeling apps. They will learn how to sketch and paint digital watercolor on an iPad or iPhone with Procreate and Adobe Fresco apps, create basic 3D models with SketchUp, and use Adobe Photoshop for image editing and digital watercolor making in a computer. Basic artistic and design concepts will be covered, such as perspective, composition, color theory, and value.
This digital art program is project-based so that students will end the course with a collection of digital representations of what they have learned.
No experience needed. For high school students at all levels who are interested in architecture, landscape architecture, or fine art for pre-college portfolio building.
Schedule: Live, synchronous sessions will meet Monday - Friday 11:00am - 1:00pm (EDT).
