Online Pre-College Programs
Our online pre-college programs are designed to give you a preview of the UMass Amherst student experience, including college-level academics and being part of a learning community of high school students from all across the U.S. and the world.
- Courses will be delivered online through live meetings and will include offline assignment and projects.
- Courses meet synchronously 3 - 5 times per week primarily using Zoom, but may use other communication tools.
- Courses will be managed through UMass Amherst's Canvas platforms. Learn more about Canvas.
This two-week online course for high school students helps you learn about the dynamic business world of the 21st century, from globalization to start-ups.

This two-week Anthropology course for high school students will cover topics in Primatology, including primate evolution, behavior, ecology, and conservation.

This two-week course for high school students lets you become proficient in the programming language Python while solving a variety of problems in physics.

From launching new ideas to managing complex team efforts, this interactive online course introduces students to the fundamentals of project management through hands-on activities and simulations. Students will learn how real organizations plan, track, and deliver projects while developing leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
