Elizabeth Mikesch

Elizabeth Mikesch is a Lecturer in the Junior Year Writing program for the College of Engineering. In teaching writing and research skills, she utilizes collaborative 'live' workshop groups, where class members provide feedback on potential topics and also do live research for their peers (finding links related to their research questions and editing objectives based on group feedback). As an IIF fellow, she will present her approaches and experiences with user experience (UX) for live research sessions, as well as nonhierarchical practices in course design that center around community building through reflection.
