Donna Devine

Donna provides academic advising support to UWW Interdisciplinary Studies students and faculty. Prior to joining the academic advising team, Donna served as the program's pre-admissions advisor and recruitment coordinator for over 10 years. 

Donna's personal experience as a first generation, adult learner informs her work at the UWW Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, and she is inspired every single day by the adults she advises. Donna's parents could not afford to send her to college, but she didn't let that stop her. She took one class at a time for over a decade, all the while getting married, raising children and working full-time. After seventeen years, her hard work and perseverance paid off and she completed her bachelor's degree in business administration. 

Later, while still working full-time, raising her family, and taking one class at a time, she completed her master's degree in education. 

Prior to joining the UWW Department of Interdisciplinary Studies, Donna held other positions at UMass Amherst and worked for the MassMutual Life Insurance Company in Springfield, Massachusetts.
