This course was designed to expose students to Computer Assisted Translation (CAT) software, increasingly required for most translation jobs worldwide. It course aims at allowing students to gain hands-on translation practice using SDL Trados, memoQ and Wordfast Anywhere: create a new translation project or open an existing one, learn terminology management and troubleshooting, run quality assurance (QA) checkers, and align documents on LiveDocs.
