Current trends in today's fast-paced translation industry require all actors involved to be able to communicate, work efficiently and most of the time remotely using modern computer-assisted translation tools and project-management software solutions. In addition to excellent communication skills, professional competence in the use of computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools is required for most translation jobs. This course is designed to expose students to the latest translation technology through hands-on assignments while learning from their instructor and collaborating with their classmates.
