Through the UWW Interdisciplinary Studies program you can develop your language mediation skills to meet the needs of an increasingly globalized world.  

This online bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a multilingual focus in translation and interpreting—the only one of its kind in the U.S.— is designed for students with high proficiency in English and at least one Language Other Than English (LOTE). No previous translation and interpreting experience is required.  

You can tailor your degree with courses in ethics and standards in translation and interpreting, simultaneous interpreting, legal interpreting, mental health interpreting, medical interpreting, translation and technology, and more.
