  1. Review the application instructions and submit the UWW Undergraduate Application located in the right side bar under Apply / References. The online application works in all browsers except Internet Explorer (IE). If you encounter problems using IE, please choose a different browser.  
  2. Application deadlines are April 15 to start in September; Oct. 1 to start in January. It's ok if your transcripts get to us a little later than that. 
  3. If you are a U.S. veteran or active duty military, your application fee is waived. Thank you for your service.
  4. Mail official transcripts from all colleges you have ever attended to the address in the application. We also accept electronic transcripts.
  5. If you are a former UMass Amherst student, the process for applying will be a little bit different for you. Read this.
  6. If you have international transcripts and/or English was not your first spoken language, review the International Applicant's Guide for specialized information and instructions to help you.
  7. Learn about and apply early for financial aid.

Priority for admission will be given to applicants who have met the priority application deadline.

Sometime after your completed application form has been received and uploaded into our system, we will start sending you weekly emails updating you on the status of your application. Your application will be reviewed for admission as space allows once all of your materials have been received. You will be notified of a decision by email within 4-6 weeks after your application is reviewed.
