This file contains a simple, easy to use model for the inventory and maintenance of urban park trails.  The guide provides an introduction to the preparation of a strategic approach to the care and maintenance of trails in urban settings.  Included in the document are two inventory sheets that make the task of recording the location and condition of trails, vegetation and erosion easy to complete. 

These documents are easily adaptable and can be modified for the specific variables that may be found in individual towns or cities.  Please feel free to suggest changes or modifications to the template.  Please forward your suggestions to urban tree@forwild.umass.edu.
