The Northeast Center for Urban and Community Forestry is currently revising it's Strategic Plan for 2005-2009. Projects that provide regional models will be the focus of the Center's initiatives. It is anticipated that the Center will be assisting in completing the following projects throughout the region.

• Hemlock Woolly Adelgid Monitoring Pilot Project; (PDF File)
• "Train the Trainers" street tree inventories utilizing community volunteers, including development of web based training resouces;
• Urban Forest Health Monitoring;
• The development of a hazard tree training program for municipalities including web based training curriculum;
