Community Focused. Event Driven.

The Office of Community Relations and University Events (CRUE) has two essential responsibilities. As the primary liaison with communities in the region, we nurture off-campus partnerships and negotiate with local officials to ensure a healthy and mutually beneficial relationship with surrounding communities.

We are also the group responsible for supporting the campus mission through the design, planning, and execution of high-visibility events at the university, including annual commencement celebrations. We work with faculty, staff, students, outside vendors, and others to make sure every detail is addressed and each event is successful.
