Is your event right for the UMass Events Calendar?
UMass Events promoted on the UMass Events Calendar are one-time events or a series of related events over a short period of time with an approved location, a specific topic, a UMass sponsor, and open to all audiences.
The UMass Events Calendar is not intended to be a promotion channel for every type of engagement available at UMass. There are simply too many options available to the community for us to reasonably display all of them.
Do you have a recurring/regular event?
The UMass Events Calendar is not the appropriate place to promote a series of related events that recur daily or weekly over an extended period, such as a course/seminar, regular meeting, virtual exhibit, center hours, or training/consulting sessions. If you wish to promote such an event, please submit just the first occurrence, e.g. “First Weekly Meeting of Fall” and last occurrence, e.g. “Last chance to see Exhibit this Fall” and include the full recurring schedule in the description of the event submissions, e.g. “Every Friday 2:30pm to 3pm.”
