Lori Shine

Lori Shine is senior managing editor of UMass Magazine (circulation 350,000), which is printed twice per year and continuously online. She writes and edits for the magazine, manages editorial and production schedules and contracts, and regularly refreshes the team’s supply of chocolate. Her previous communications roles at UMass have included stints at the Juniper Initiative, the College of Natural Sciences, and Advancement. Lori relishes the inexhaustible well of stories to tell from the UMass campus and alumni community. She completed her MFA at UMass Amherst in 2004 and has worked as managing editor for multiple independent literary publishers.
