Job Description: The Institute for Training and Development in Amherst, MA is recruiting university students to assist as student mentors for its U.S. State Department sponsored academic exchange program Study of the U.S. Institutes for Student Leaders (SUSI), on Public Policymaking for the summer of 2018.

SUSI Summer 2018 will provide undergraduate student leaders from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras with a deeper understanding of the U.S., while enhancing their leadership and collective problem-solving skills.

The student mentors will assist ITD with the implementation of this program by providing students with a deeper understanding of university life in the United States, through personal interactions and shared experiences with the visiting students. The selected students to be mentors will work as a team to plan and carry out social and programmatic activities for the international students, primarily weekdays during late afternoons or early evenings.
