Scholarships for Massachusetts Community College Graduates

The University of Massachusetts Amherst encourages all students who may be eligible to apply for the following scholarships.

As part of the MassTransfer application, you can apply for a transfer scholarship, which requires a 300 word statement about your personal circumstances and involvement in activities outside of the classroom that have shaped you as an individual and your education. The scholarship application is only available within the MassTransfer application and cannot be completed at a later time.

Applications are reviewed using a holistic review process and decisions are based on the overall competitiveness of the applicant pool and information provided in your application. Since many of the scholarships are income-based, applicants should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as it provides important information about one’s Expected Family Contribution (EFC).
