The Leverett Historical Society

The Leverett Historical Society (LHS) has holdings in 1810  Moore's Corner School/Meeting House and in the 1916 Leverett Family Museum. Both locations have a collection of donated local artifacts,  photographs, books and papers, and genealogy materials depicting the agricultural, economic and industrial endeavors of the Town  as well as its social history, has accumulated over the years and is now available for viewing by the public.

Downtown Amherst Foundation - Relief and Resiliency Microgrant Program

The Downtown Amherst Foundation’s Relief and Resiliency Small Business Microgrant program intends to offer microgrants to small, local businesses and individual contractors to meet their short-term financial needs. The grant can cover employee wages and benefits (including fringe benefits associated with employment, such as health insurance), accounts payable, fixed costs, inventory, rent, and utilities. This application is ONLY for Amherst, Massachusetts small businesses, independent contractors, and self-employed individuals who operate a brick and mortar business.

Tree Northampton

Tree Northampton, Inc. is a private citizens group promoting ecological stewardship of Northampton, MA through education, advocacy, and volunteer participation. In collaboration with the Northampton Tree Warden (Richard C. Parasiliti, Jr.) and the Northampton Public Shade Tree Commission, Tree Northampton volunteers support Northampton’s tree program by planting and caring for trees all around the city.
