If you are a UMass faculty, staff member, or retiree and would like to add a charitable organization, please submit a request at any time.

Note: If a charity has not received a donation within the past two years, we may have removed it from our site. We'd be happy to add it back! Please let us know.

​Felicidade Oliveira moved to Amherst in 2009 from Cape Verde, an island off the coast of West Africa. She spoke not a word of English and didn’t know how to read in her native language, Creole. 

CPE advances economic justice through education, economic demystification, and organizing. We provide participatory economics workshops, resource materials, and bridge the divide between activists and academics.

Centre Street Food Pantry's mission is to provide families within our community with consistent access to nutritious food in a dignified and sensitive environment. As many as 90 families shop each time we are open and more than 20 new families come to us each month. Our shoppers are from Newton, Brighton, Watertown, Waltham, Needham, Wellesley, West Roxbury and Brookline.  

Centre Street receives no funding from the City of Newton or from the state of Massachusetts. We depend on the graciousness of our community members to help us keep food on our neighbors' tables.

Charles River Watershed Association (CRWA) was formed in 1965 in response to public concern about the declining condition of the Charles.
