Campaign Legal Center

Campaign Legal Center (CLC) advances democracy through law, fighting for every American’s right to participate in the democratic process. CLC uses tactics such as litigation,  policy advocacy, communications and partnerships to win victories that result in a more transparent, accountable and inclusive democracy. Our long-term goal is a government responsive to the  people.

Lambda Legal

Founded in 1973, Lambda Legal is the oldest and largest national legal organization whose mission is to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.  As a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we do not charge our clients for legal representation or advocacy, and we receive no government funding. We depend on contributions from supporters around the country.

Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund

MALDEF strives to implement programs that are structured to bring Latinos into the mainstream of American political and socio-economic life; providing better educational opportunities; encouraging participation in all aspects of society; and offering a positive vision for the future.

Southern Poverty Law Center

Using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy, the SPLC works toward making the ideals of equal justice and equal opportunity a reality.

Friends of Children

Friends of Children mobilizes support by speaking up for vulnerable children and young people whose needs are ill-addressed by bureaucracy. We guide them to safe environments where they can thrive. We help them find their own voices and become their own advocates.
