Heroes, Horses and Hounds

Heroes, Horses and Hounds is a 501c3, non-profit. We are dedicated to improving our communities by helping the people and animals in them. Our mission is to save two lives at once by rescuing unwanted horses and dogs and retraining them for service and animal assisted programs.

By offering a wide variety of programs and classes we are able to reach a large number of people in need. Our classes and programs are designed to help Veterans, Kids at risk, People recovering from strokes and using prosthetics, inmates, and people with PTSD and Autism.

Diggity Dogs Service Dogs

Diggity Dogs Service Dogs, a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization based in Shelburne Falls, MA, provides service dogs and service dog training and support services. We develop dogs’ abilities to sense their guardian’s mental, emotional, neurological and/or physical needs and respond in ways that enable our clients to cope with and overcome challenges that they experience. We create cooperative and mutually beneficial relationships with dogs that provide invaluable assistance to disabled individuals.

Therapeutic Equestrian Center

The Therapeutic Equestrian Center (TEC) was founded in 1982 for the purpose of promoting and enhancing, through the use of horseback riding, the abilities of each participant to reach their highest potential and to promote to the general public an understanding of the needs and abilities of children and adults with disabilities.

UNITED WAY OF FRANKLIN COUNTY

Meeting the needs of the community through nurturing children and youth, strengthening families and individuals, enhancing health and wellness, and caring for those in crisis.

Special Olympics of Massachusetts

Provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Goals include developing physical fitness, expressing courage, and experiencing joy.

ServiceNet, Inc.

Shelter, housing, clinical treatment, mental health recovery, and homecare services to TBI and DD individuals, homeless people, youths, substance abusers and crime victims.

MAB Community Services

MAB is dedicated to working with individuals with disabilities, including vision loss, developmental disabilities and brain injury, to eliminate barriers and create opportunities.

Freedom Guide Dogs

A a non-profit organization located in Cassville, NY, that provides guide dogs to blind and visually impaired people throug the distinct program called "Hometown Training."

Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind

Trains guide and service dogs that transform the lives of people with disabilities. Restores independence and mobility using cutting-edge technology and innovative training methods.
