Springfield Symphony Orchestra

Our mission is to maintain and develop a professional symphony orchestra that produces performances of high artistic quality, that educates and entertains audiences of all ages, that expands and develops our audiences; and to sponsor related programs and concerts that enhance the musical life of the region we serve.

Today, the SSO is the largest Massachusetts symphony outside of Boston. It consists of over 80 musicians from the NE region of the United States and Canada, and holds many performances in a given season – as either the full orchestra or in ensemble formats.

Workshop 13

Workshop13 is a non-profit cultural arts and learning center in Ware. We offer classes and workshops in fine arts and crafting, photography, ceramic arts, and personal growth. Scholarships for children with financial need are offered through referrals from local school teachers and caseworkers. We also host monthly open mic nights, concerts, and we offer a great venue for private events. Workshop 13 includes the ArtWorks Gallery and ClayWorks, a pottery studio, which are revitalizing downtown Ware.

Pioneer Valley Symphony Orchestra

One of the oldest community orchestras in the United States, the PVS was founded to serve the Pioneer Valley through music in three ways: by performing symphonic and choral music; by providing members of the community the opportunity to participate in making music; and through musical education, particularly by introducing young children to live orchestral music.

Valley Classical Concerts (formerly Music in Deerfield)

Valley Classical Concerts presents a mix of eminent established musicians and exciting early-career ensembles, in varied programs that include both mainstream classical music and the works of 20th and 21st century composers – concerts that Valley residents might otherwise hear only by traveling to a major metropolitan area.

Flywheel

Flywheel, a collectively run, not-for-profit space, aims to build community and give artists of all types the opportunity to craft, practice, and perform their work in an environment where creativity is valued over profit.
