Make your travel medicine appointment at least four weeks before your departure. If you have vaccination records, bring them to the appointment.

You'll begin by meeting with a UHS nurse practitioner, who'll review your medical history and provide any necessary prescriptions; this should take about 15 minutes.

Then, you'll be seen by our travel medicine clinician, who'll provide important health information for your destination, answer questions and administer immunizations. These sessions last about a half-hour.
