Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN)

Fall 2020 Update: This service is not available until further notice.

An obstetrician/gynecologist (OB/GYN) is a physician who has specialized education and training in pregnancy, childbirth and disorders of women's reproductive systems. This includes preventative care, pregnancy and prenatal care, labor, delivery, care immediately after childbirth and family planning, as well as testing and screening for infections, illnesses and more.

OB/GYN services, including prenatal care, ultrasounds and infertility services are provided by contracted medical specialists in UHS' specialty clinic. These licensed independent providers meet the high standards of care mandated by UHS and our accrediting body.

Care is available by referral from your healthcare provider. For an appointment with a UHS provider, call (413) 577-5101.
