Prenatal Care
If you are pregnant and wish to continue your pregnancy, it is important to get prenatal care. UHS does not provide prenatal care, so you will need to connect with a prenatal care provider in the region. Regional providers include:
- Mass General Brigham/Cooley Dickinson Hospital
- Baystate Health
- Holyoke Medical Center
- Seven Sisters Midwifery & Community Birth Center
You do not need a referral to see a provider for prenatal care. If you do not yet have a prenatal care provider and are experiencing bleeding or pain, we recommend seeking care in an emergency room.

Student Parent Programs
Student Parent Programs supports students who are pregnant and/or caring for a dependent child as they work toward their personal, professional, and educational goals. Programs and services include childcare subsidies for eligible student parents, assistance with access to university and community resources, family-friendly events and activities, and a staff of dedicated professionals to help student parents get the support they need during their time here at UMass Amherst. Center for Early Education and Care
The Center for Early Education and Care (CEEC) provides high-quality early childhood services for children from 15 months through five years of age.
