HPV is serious, common, and preventable.
Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) causes genital warts and cancer, including genital and head & neck cancers. HPV is so common that almost every person who is sexually active will get it if they’re not vaccinated. The HPV vaccine is safe, effective prevention for all genders.
UMass students can self-schedule an HPV vaccine appointment on the UMass Patient Portal.
- Log into the UMass Patient Portal with your UMass NetID.
- Under University Health Services, click "Get Started."
- In the sidebar menu, click "Appointments."
- Under Reason, select "Nurse Vaccine Visit," then click "Submit."
- Select a date and time to schedule your appointment.
