Barbara J. Miner, R.D.O.

Optician

Barbara, a board-certified dispensing optician since 1991, joined UHS in 2010. She has extensive experience in all facets of the optical industry, from eyeglass fabrication through ophthalmology. In that time she has been providing the latest in eyecare technologies from Cape Cod to the Pioneer Valley.

She holds a B.A. in healthcare administration from the University of Massachusetts; graduated from the Lahey Clinic's Ophthalmic Medical Assistant Program for Opticians and attended Holyoke Community College's Ophthalmic Technology program.

Barbara enjoys scuba diving, technology and living in the country with her husband and kids.
