There is no set depoisit amount or balance associated with the UCard debit account.  However, to assist you with planning for the upcoming semester, the UCard Office has put together the following recommendation for a typical semester:

• $175.00     Supplies                                                        
• $225.00     Laundry, Snacks, Miscellaneous             
• $500.00     Books*                                                        

 
For a total of $900.00 per semester.  Again, this is only an estimate; each student's expenses will be different.  If $900 isn't sufficient for the student's needs,  additional deposits can always be made.  Conversely, if $900 turns out to be more than was needed, the funds roll over from semester to semester and year to year.  The funds are not lost and can be used in the future.
 
* Starting in 2019, the University's online bookstore, eCampus, accepts the UCard Debit Account as payment.
