Krisztina Filep
Executive Director of Analytics and Institutional Research

Krisztina Filep is responsible for traditional institutional research functions including compliance reporting, rankings data and ad hoc requests supporting a variety of initiatives and stakeholders on campus. She also co-leads the campus’ large-scale analytics and data warehouse projects with IT. She is involved in leveraging this platform for strategic planning and expanding data sources available within the platform. Her goal is to get people the data they need in a way they can understand so they can make data-informed decisions. She is actively involved in North East AIR and was the program chair for the 2024 conference. Krisztina holds a MS in Statistics and prior to working in higher education, was a mathematical survey statistician at Statistics Canada.

Senior Data & Visualization Analyst

Regan Scott-Chin has many years of experience working in higher education data analytics, participating in both regular reporting and special projects. She enjoys technical problem solving and crafting visualizations that make data accessible.  She has presented at NEAIR and has prepared reports and dashboards for senior leadership to encourage data-informed decision-making at multiple levels. Regan has a Master of Forensic Sciences.

Passionate about leveraging data to drive institutional improvement and student success, he collaborates with stakeholders to develop actionable solutions that align with the University's strategic goals.

Bryan Beck
Bryan Beck
Project Manager

Bryan Beck coordinates and completes institutional research, analytics, and assessment projects with both UAIR and Assessment, Survey, and Effectiveness Research (ASER), working on projects including data requests, strategic planning, reporting, assessment, and program approvals and inventory. He has also worked in the university's accreditation efforts, including on the steering committee for the university's 2018 comprehensive self-evaluation. Bryan has previously served the campus in the Offices of the Provost, Chancellor, and Faculty Senate, and has been a member of teams receiving the Chancellor's Citation Award (2019) and the Commonwealth Citation for Outstanding Performance (2016).
