COVID-19 Response

Masks Required

All passengers are REQUIRED to wear a nose & mouth covering on-board all PVTA vehicles and in waiting areas.

Governor Baker issued an order requiring everyone to wear a face covering in public - Including on Public Transportation. Passengers are responsible for having a nose & mouth covering which can range from a medical mask to a bandanna, scarf or t-shirt to a homemade or painters mask, etc.

Essential Trips Only

PVTA is providing transportation for ESSENTIAL TRIPS ONLY.

Riders must be travelling to an essential destination. All riders are required to exit the bus at the end of its route and may not re-board the same vehicle for a return trip. Multiple or consecutive round trips are not permitted and riders who appear to be loitering on the bus will be asked to deboard.

Stay Home If Not Feeling Well

If you have a cough, cold or fever or you are not feeling well, please stay home. Do not use public transportation.

Social Distancing

To create appropriate social distancing space for our drivers, we are limiting use of front doors to ADA passengers only. All other passengers should use the rear doors for loading and unloading at all times.

Follow CDC guidelines by maintaining appropriate distance away from the driver & other passengers, & follow all CDC best practices to keep our community safe.

Buses are cleaned thoroughly every night using a strong EPA approved disinfectant solution to help curb the spread of coronavirus.

We are committed to doing our part to prevent the transmission of COVID-19 and thank our passengers for their continued confidence and trust. For more information, reach us on Facebook, on Twitter, by email at transit [at], or by phone at 413-545-0056.
