Amherst Block Party 2022 - Detours

The Amherst Business Improvement District is hosting their annual Amherst Block Party on Thursday, 9/15 from 5pm to 9pm. N Pleasant St will be closed to traffic between Kendrick Park and Main St, causing buses to detour. To account for setup and breakdown time for the event, buses will be detouring this section of N Pleasant St from noon until 11pm. Expect delays.

The major stops missed will be Fearing Street (in/out), Pray Street (in/out), Cowles Lane, and Amherst Post Office. Use the Town Hall, Amherst Common, and Jones Library stops during this time. Since buses will deviate from their standard routing, please double check the headsigns to ensure you board the correct route in the direction of your destination.
