UMass Transit: The Team that Moves UMass

UMass Transit operates PVTA buses for the Five Colleges as well as for the towns of Amherst, Belchertown, Deerfield, Granby, Hadley, Northampton, South Hadley, and Sunderland. UMass Transit also operates Accessible Van Service vans, Field Trip vehicles, and Meet and Greet sedans.

UMass Transit drivers, dispatchers, and trainers are UMass students, as are most of our supervisors and managers. We're committed to providing safe, efficient, and sustainable mobility for over 18,000 riders daily.

Parking Services

Our goal is to provide safe, orderly, and fair parking for employees, students, and visitors to our campus. We strive to make parking on campus as convenient as possible, while promoting safe movement of vehicles, providing for pedestrian safety, and assuring free and continuous access to buildings and walkways for pedestrians and emergency vehicles.

Fleet Services

Transportation Services is responsible for the University Automotive Shop.   This outstanding team helps the university meet its mission by improving the efficiency and productivity of the campus fleet, while maintaining the sustainability goals of the campus and enhancing the attractiveness and reliability of transportation options for campus drivers.
