You are more than halfway through the semester and something feels—off. You have been moving forward with the schedule of topics listed on your syllabus, but you have a gut feeling that your students have not mastered the content. Or maybe you have noticed that students are not coming to class. Perhaps you get the sense that students are bored or disgruntled. You have come to a decision point: Do you just push through to the end of the semester, or are there some easy fixes you can implement to make the remainder of the course meaningful for you and your students?
Join TEFD’s Midterm Assessment Process (MAP) Core Team, who have coached approximately 200 faculty each academic year through these difficult decision points:
- Mei-Yau Shih, Associate Director, TEFD
- Jen Cannon, MAP consultant
- Maria McSorely, MAP consultant
- Michele Vanasse, MAP consultant
This event is part of the First Year, First Friday Series and open to all first-year faculty.
