Traditional ideas about mentoring—often pairing a senior faculty member with an early-career faculty member—has the potential to result in unfulfilling professional development. Join us to discuss the mutual mentoring framework and how identifying a network of mentors can help you thrive as a new faculty member. Participants will map their current mentoring network, identify pressing areas of need that are not being met, and create a plan to expand their existing mentoring network.
This workshop is part of the First Year, First Friday series for all new faculty.
