Event date:

2:30PM to 4:00PM

Event location:

DuBois Library, Room 2601 (Conference room next to Faculty Commons)

Session Overview

Do you love sitting in a café engaged in a great conversation? We invite you to a session that we will spend in rotating table conversations around questions that matter: What challenges are you facing as international instructors or students? What issues do your international students struggle with? How can instructors and students with an international background navigate these challenges? Your voice matters – please join us for coffee, tea and pastries.

Session Goals

  • To identify challenges and problems that you are facing as international students, international instructors, or instructors teaching international students.
  • To identify what has worked for you as international students, international instructors, or instructors teaching international students.
  • To attract collective energy, insight, and action as you move through the world café process.

Join us to build community with other international faculty, postdocs, and grad students, and to learn from and with each other. You don't have an international background but are interested in the topic? Come join us!

Co-sponsored by TEFD and the Graduate School Office of Professional Development.
