I'm a PI, Now What? Money In, Money Out: Budgeting, Spending, and Reconciling

Event date:

Friday, March 29, 2019 -
9:00AM to 10:30AM

Event location:

Life Science Laboratories (LSL) Room S330, Institute for Applied Life Sciences (IALS) Conference Center

After the champagne toasts, reality sets in and successfully funded PIs need to consider re-budgeting in the face of cuts and unexpected expenses. Contracts and subcontracts must be executed, people must be hired and paid, widgets must be purchased, and everything must be tracked and reconciled. The first time through can be daunting. Join us for a workshop in which Catrine Tudor-Locke and Dhandapani Venkataraman (DV) break it down for you!  A light breakfast will be provided.

This workshop is part of the series I'm a PI, Now What?, co-sponsored by TEFD, Provost's Office, Center for Research on Families (CRF), Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR), Office of Research and Engagement, College of Education, College of Natural Sciences, College of Social & Behavioral Sciences, and the School of Public Health and Health Sciences.

Registration is Now Closed.
