TEFD hosts an off-site Scholarly Writing Retreat every May which helps faculty jump-start their summer writing projects. This highly-rated event offers faculty a comfortable and collegial environment, in a beautiful location, in which to work on scholarly projects. Continental breakfast and a catered lunch are provided along with coffee and tea throughout the day. This year, we are adding a number of breakout sessions, including workshops on setting writing goals and developing a competitive proposal for funding/fellowships in the humanities. We will also offer a limited number of individual consultations on writing and proposal development.
After you register for the Off-Site Scholarly Writing Retreat, you will receive a follow-up email with more information about the breakout sessions and consultations, for which you can register.
We are currently at capacity for the event. If you would like to be put on a waitlist for the Off-Site Scholary Writing Retreat, please email Wendy Varner.
