Ensuring Sustainability Goals Align with Institutional Strategies
The Chancellor's Sustainability Advisory Committee (CSAC) guides the work to integrate sustainability into all university operations, bringing ideas from students, faculty, and staff to university decision-makers for action.
Current CSAC Membership
Members of CSAC include the committee chair; administrative and sustainability staff; academic faculty, including a rotating dean; and student representatives, including the Student Government Association (SGA) and Graduate Student Government (GSG).
Currently in 2026, there is one active CSAC Sub-Committee in Decarbonization which is comprised of students, faculty, and staff working with a consulting team to develop the next phases of the Carbon Mitigation Planning process.
