Chair: Lynn McKenna
The finance sub-committee mission is to explore, develop and help manage financing opportunities for sustainability efforts at UMass Amherst.
In September of 2013, the first Sustainability Innovation and Engagement Fund was established to engage the entire campus community, students, faculty, and staff, in submitting ideas and proposals for creating a more sustainable campus. The $50,000 fund provides a funding mechanism for rewarding mini-grants to the top sustainability proposals that are vetted and chosen by the Chancellor’s Sustainability Committee and campus administration.
For more information on the Sustainability Innovation and Engagement Fund, please contact Campus Sustainability Manager, Ezra Small at firstname.lastname@example.org. The online application for submitting a project proposal can be found here.
Other projects of the sub-committee include exploring creative ways to engage UMass Alumni by connecting them with ways to give to sustainability focused efforts across campus
