For Accepted Students
Information for accepted students
For Summer College 2014 Admitted Students & Families
For those of you accepted, congratulations again on earning a place in our academic intensives.
On this page you will find a copy of the ‘Registration Packet’ and 'Participation Agreement' in PDF format. We encourage you to download a copy and begin working on it. If you are unable to download and print a copy please let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you a hard copy in the mail.
As you will see the registration packet is significant! We ask that both student and parent read through each page, many of which require signatures. You will also need to take the final two pages to your primary care physician to be filled out and signed.
Your place in the program is not considered confirmed until we have received full payment. Please go to our payment page https://ecommerce.umass.edu/summercollege_commerce/ and return the completed registration packet and signed participation agreement to:
Office of the Provost
373 Whitmore Administration Building
181 Presidents Drive
University of Massachusetts
Amherst, MA 01003
We accept: MasterCard, Discover, American Express or eCheck (a secure and direct payment from your account to ours – just like writing a check). Please note there is a 2.7% credit card processing fee. We’re sorry to say that the UMass system does not accept Visa cards.
We will hold your space but we enroll students as payments are made so please pay and return this packet as soon as you’re able. If your circumstances have changed and you are unable to attend Summer College 2014 please let us know right away.
Weekend Field Trips
Optional weekend excursions to Six Flags New England and Boston are organized during each intensive. You'll have the choice to sign up for these trips when you register. The trip to Boston includes a Duck Boat tour, lunch at the Prudential Center food court, an option to either visit the Museum of Science or go on a 3-hour whale watch, and dinner and free time at Fanueil Hall.
Please review the FAQ section of this web site at http://www.umass.edu/summercollege/frequently-asked-questions and if you have additional questions feel free to contact us.
UMASS email account
Once you are registered you will automatically receive notification by email from our Office of Information Technology (OIT) regarding your UMASS email account. Please follow the directions and set up your account promptly as this will allow you to receive material from faculty, access computer labs on campus, use the library on campus and communicate with fellow students.
If you have additional questions feel free to contact us.
Looking forward to seeing you soon! - the Summer College staff
