About Student Success

The UMass Amherst Undergraduate Student Success unit was established in 2016 through the active partnership of Academic Affairs and Student Affairs & Campus Life, recognizing the benefits of integrated, cross-functional approaches to student persistence and thriving. We create and contribute to campus-wide approaches and programs that increase student retention, support timely progress toward degree completion, nurture student-centered teams, and enhance holistic student learning and development through the advancement of high-impact educational practices.
