FYS: Nursing
Students in the Elaine Marieb College of Nursing (NURSING) practice in a wide variety of healthcare settings and develop into nursing leaders and researchers to educate future generations. Nursing faculty members draw on their advanced clinical skills and innovative research in their teaching. Students are prepared for their careers by using state-of-the-art technology and techniques.
First-Year Seminars in Nursing explore the role of the professional nurse through discussions with nurse leaders, group discussions, critical thinking exercises, values clarifications and self-discovery. These are mandatory for Nursing students and not open to others.
