Health Promotion Specialist
Tommy is a community health educator and social justice advocate experienced in working with diverse ages, races, genders and socioeconomic backgrounds.
His professional background includes evaluating addiction and recovery programs funded by the federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration; teaching undergraduate-level courses in topics including substance abuse, environmental and community health; and working with adolescents on issues including substance abuse, sexual health, pregnancy and parenting.
He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Smith College, and earned a master of public health degree in community health education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
