THE WORK

We support and integrate health into the campus community in many ways, such as:

Group Facilitation: Co-lead wellbeing sessions for students (e.g. RAP students) to support their academic and personal success. Sessions explore the mind/body connection, health equity, stress management, and more.

Paws Program Events: assist with four campus-wide stress reduction events featuring therapy dogs. Learn more about the Paws Program.

Social Media Messaging: Craft engaging health-promoting messages to support student wellbeing.

Other Opportunities: participate in other outreach opportunities, such as following up with RAP students after a wellbeing session to check in, leading/co-leading small group discussions in the dining commons to promote social connectedness, and participating in special events on campus (e.g. De-Stress Fest).

Recruitment for the program begins mid-spring. Follow us on our social media to get updates including how to apply.

Be creative, have fun, and make a difference.

Please note, all Center of Health Promotion (CHP) staff and interns are Title IX responsible. Learn more about Title IX. CHP staff and interns are also responsible for reporting student disclosures of potential harm to self and/or others.
