WOCLN: Financial Literacy for Women of Color w/ SAM: Smart About Money
Open To: all individuals, particularly women of color, first generation students, and students of low-income backgrounds
Get smart about money and learn all things finance during our Financial Literacy event. Explore the barriers all individuals, particularly women of color, face and learn to navigate your personal finances to put your best foot forward. Get connected to resources on the UMass campus for any and all of your concerns. Take a step to bring your financial goals to reality!

WOCLN: PeaceBirds - Story Circle and folding birds
This workshop with Mona Shiber & JuPong Lin introduces the PeaceBirds project by creating space for sharing stories and folding birds together.
By using story circle process, artists invite the community to share stories of ancestral connection with their homelands and experiences of migration and/or displacement. There will be folding demonstrations of the dove and crane, integrating mindful movements of hands, eyes and heart. The folded birds represent peace in many traditions.
