WOCLN: PeaceBirds - Story Circle and folding birds
This workshop with Mona Shiber & JuPong Lin introduces the PeaceBirds project by creating space for sharing stories and folding birds together.
By using story circle process, artists invite the community to share stories of ancestral connection with their homelands and experiences of migration and/or displacement. There will be folding demonstrations of the dove and crane, integrating mindful movements of hands, eyes and heart. The folded birds represent peace in many traditions.
