Stockbridge alumni are fierce supporters of our school.  As denoted on our historic school seal, they give their best "to Dear Old Stockbridge, Body Heart, and Soul.  Our alumni serve on our school advisory board, bring their industry expertise to guest teach some of our classes, provide internship experiences for current students, and their donations help defray the travel costs when our students compete nationally.

This year, Arboriculture alumnus Daniel Mayer '93 AS, '95 BS has committed to TWO challenge gifts to encourage widespread participation in this year's UMassGives event, an annual 2-day fundraising event for the flagship university, during which donations can be directed to specific schools and programs.

Challenge #1:  When the Stockbridge School of Agriculture receives 40 gifts, of any size, a $1000 challenge gift will be unlocked by Mayer and given to the school.

Challenge #2:  The student members of our Stockbridge fraternity Alpha Tau Gamma pride themselves on providing service to both the school and the community.  In recognition of their efforts, and to provide an incentive for 100% participation of its membership in UMassGives this year, Mayer will additionally match any and all funds raised by that student group.

In addition to our excellent programs, we are seeking gifts to support the production of additional videos to aid with student recruitment.  Learn more about the Stockbridge Video Campaign and how you can help.

It's an exciting year for both Stockbridge and UMassGives, and we are grateful for the participation and partnership of our students and student families, professors, alumni, staff, industry liaisons, friends, and members of the community.

A link to our giving page will appear on our website early on Tuesday April 29.  Gifts can be made online through midnight at the end of Wednesday April 30.

Put a reminder in your calendar to support the Stockbridge School of Agriculture.  We thank you for everything you do to share our successes with others.
