Dr. Jill Fitzsimmons: “Farmers' Choices in Local and Regional Markets”
Abstract: Local and regional food systems may have the potential to support farm viability, but the choices that farmers face in these markets can be difficult to disentangle. In this presentation I will present recent research findings that improve our understanding of the trade-offs that farmers face in local and regional food markets.
