Saturday, February 18, 2023 - 9:00am to 11:30am

Integrated Learning Center (ILC) Room S-231

This event is for newly admitted students and their families.  If you are a future applicant to UMass, we would love to have you visit us too.  Future applicants can request a weekday tour of Stockbridge.

Newly admitted students and their families are invited to visit Stockbridge School of Agriculture on the UMass Amherst campus.  We'll give a brief presentation about what makes us the #1 school in the nation among the Best Agricultural Science Universities in the World.  You'll have the chance to meet faculty and students from across our programs, and we'll be hosting multiple tours focused on our different major programs.  Depending on the major tour you join, you'll get the chance to see our campus arboretum, landscape drafting studios and assembly space, cutting-edge plant and soil sciences labs, our LEED-certified and climate-controlled research greenhouse, our hydroponics greenhouse, and our permaculture food garden that supplies the campus dining program.

We'll gather at the Integrated Learning Center (ILC) Room S-231 at 9am.  Our tours should end by 11:30am, giving you time to eat lunch at our award-winning dining commons.

To join us, see the frequently updated information and register through the Event Portal on the UMass Admissions Destination Days page.

Can't make it on Saturday Feb 18?  Fear not!  We'll be doing it all again on Sunday April 2!

If neither of those dates works for you, we are happy to show you around on the weekday of your choice.  You can request a weekday tour of Stockbridge and catch a University Admissions tour the same day.
