Attention High School Students!
Stockbridge is offering a week-long, hands-on course for high school students of all age. Combatting the Climate Crisis with Neighborhood Trees is focused on the roles played by trees, and by tree professionals, in mitigating climate change, as well as the career paths available to future college graduates in this field.
Students will practice mapping, planting, and climbing trees. This pre-college program at the UMass Amherst Mt. Ida campus (near Boston) is ideal for high school students on the path to a Stockbridge degree in arboriculture, horticulture, landscaping, or plant and soil sciences. The course takes place July 24-30, and spaces are filling up fast. Click the image for registration details.
