Dr. Evan Mascitti is a soil and turfgrass scientist. Before joining UMass, he worked as a sports turf manager at facilities ranging from Little League to Major League Baseball. He has also consulted on field safety and athlete performance for professional sports organizations. His interdisciplinary research bridges earth science with agronomy to serve the sports, golf, sod, and landscape sectors of the turfgrass industry.
